Regular Season Round 12: Olomouc - Vilvoorde 86-67

Undefeated BelgianVilvoorde (7-1) recorded its first loss against seventh ranked Czech Olomouc on Thursday night. Olomouc were rolled over by Olomouc 86-67 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vilvoorde. The game was mostly controlled by Olomouc. Vilvoorde managed to win second period 22-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olomouc shot 21 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Vilvoorde only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Vilvoorde 41-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Vilvoorde helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Felix Heinz who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Jakub Pecha chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Youssef Zagdoud (-2010) who recorded 25 points and 6 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Sai Jacquemain added 7 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olomouc (6-2) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Olomouc went down to 35th position due to points difference, which they share with Sokol Prazsky and Vodno Suns. Vilvoorde at the other side dropped to the 33th place with one game lost. They share the position with MBCA.
